CCYL also offers the Bambino Buddy Ball program for players with physical and/or emotional disabilities. CCYL is chartered with the Cal Ripken/Babe Ruth League and provides t-ball, coach pitch, machine pitch, and kid pitch baseball and softball experiences to players of all talent levels. LPYSA is also looking for volunteer Coaches and Buddies to help direct and assist our players. During sessions, participants will engage in inclusive soccer drills and will be encouraged and guided by our TOPSoccer Buddies. Our spring season will consist of 5-6 sessions held on weekends in April and May. TOPSoccer is open to players ages 4-19 with an intellectual, emotional, or physical disability. Players age 18 must be enrolled in high school. It is your responsibility to select the correct shirt size. Teams are based on area, age, height and experience. The community-based youth recreational leagues are, first and foremost, intended to provide a positive social experience for boys and girls with an emphasis placed on good sportsmanship, fun, and exercise. Please notify the Department of Recreation, Parks and Tourism immediately if a player, coach, official, spectator, are experiencing symptoms or received a positive COVID test result so proper tracing procedures and schedule adjustments can be implemented to reduce the spread.Athletes/Players are to keep their belongings in a designated area and six (6) feet apart.Avoid high fives, handshakes, fist bumps, or hugs.No sharing of personal items or belongings. Athletes/Players are encouraged to use their own equipment, provide their personal drink/water, and snack(s).For games, coaches should use cones or other means to designate distancing space for each player on the sideline.
